Tallinna Kristiine Gümnaasium is located in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn. We currently have over 700 students, aged 6-18,who are tought by 58 teachers. The school draws students from a wide variety of backgrounds and represents a cross section of the population of the town. Our institution is one of the 4 schools in Tallinn which teach also students from other countries, whose home language is not Estonian.As our home institution governing board is supportive of using new technologies in teaching, we have good and innovative equipment in our school, we have experience in international projects such as Comenius and NordPlus.

Our school teachers have a long-term experience in teaching various subjects innovative way. We have possibilities to use different ICT tools like mobile laptop classrooms, a full set for one class of tablets. Computer Lab etc. Our school has participated in numerous of International projects. The headmaster of school is always involved in European projects and he is informed about all steps and helps to organise meetings. Our math teachers are highly valued in Estonia, they have been part of workgroups for developement of new text and trainigbooks for students and teachers. They have also arranged seminars for our district teachers in subjects like integrated teaching of mathematics All teachers have integrated lessons with other subjects, i.e. English and ICT / Geography and ICT, History and ICT etc.
