Catalan Festivals and Celebrations
In Catalonia there are celebrations, festivities and cultural events all year long. Most of them are held outdoors because of the warm weather. In spring and summer, villages and towns celebrate a lot of interesting local parties in the open air, especially in public places so as to make those celebrations as popular and lively as possible.
Saint Johns’s Eve in La Pobla de Claramunt 2016 by Miquel Robert
The Erasmus Creativity Club students in Vallbona d’Anoia became cultural reporters during the summer of 2016 by shooting amazing photographs. A small selection of them will be displayed in the exhibition of cultural photographs in Vikeså, Norway. The photographs which have not been selected for Norway will be published here in the near future. However, not only did our students take photographs, but also they did nice videos to illustrate those local traditions and celebrations.
We have made a selection of these videos. We hope you enjoy them.
